The Foundation for End of Life Care will be bringing Jessica Zitter, MD, MPH to Juneau for a free public lecture on October 3, 2017 at 6:30 pm in Centennial Hall. Dr. Zitter is the author of the newly released and well-received book Extreme Measures: Finding a Better Path to the End of Life. She is a regular contributor to The New York Times and The Huffington Post; her writing also has appeared in The Atlantic, Time, Journal of the American Medical Association, and many other outlets. Dr. Zitter has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, and NPR’s Weekend Edition. For her day job, Dr. Zitter practices ICU and Palliative Care medicine at Highland Hospital, a public hospital in Oakland, California.
