Seanna O’Sullivan Hines
PRESIDENT

Seanna O’Sullivan is a lifelong Alaskan, small business owner, and journalist. She currently works as Public Information Officer at the Alaska Council of School Administrators. She has a B.A. in Print Journalism and Spanish with an emphasis in Photojournalism from the University of Montana. For two decade she has volunteered her photography services for families facing pregnancy and newborn loss. After experiencing the support of home hospice during the end of her husband’s life in 2014 she wanted to join the board to ensure that services would be available options for others in Juneau. Seanna is raising three daughters: Mia, Tatum, and Lola.
Steve Parker, M.D.

Steve is a recently retired physician who has lived n Juneau since 1993 with his wife, Suzanne Malter. Together they have raised three children in Juneau: Libby, Nick, and Tom. Dr. Parker has traveled extensively doing volunteer medical work in Africa, Asia, and South America.
Sharon Woodward

Sharon Woodward serves as the Director of Social Services for Wildflower Court, a long-term care facility located in Juneau, Alaska. She discovered her passion for senior care in 1995, in a very rewarding position as a certified nurse’s assistant, always working in long term care. After completing her bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Nevada n 2007, she was employed by the State of Nevada in adult protective services. She moved to Alaska from Reno in 2013. Now her interests include all aspects of Alaska. During the summer you can find her and her husband, Lance, out on the water fishing and crabbing. During the winter she enjoys the long evenings relaxing with her three wonderful dogs.
Hal Geiger

Hal is a biologist and biostatistician who has lived in Juneau since 1982. He is married to Sigrid Dahlberg, and they have two children, Will and Beth. He has done research on the effects of salmon hatcheries, the effects of the Exxon Valdez oil spill on pink salmon, conservation genetics, and salmon stock assessment techniques. He has a long-term interest in jazz and blues, as well as traditional archery and the outdoors.
Sue Nielson

Sue Nielsen was born and raised in Juneau, and she is a third generation Juneauite. Her career was in human resource management with Behrends Bank and the State of Alaska. She previously served on the Hospice Board during the 1990’s. Currently she is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Widowed Persons Program and a member of AARP Juneau Community Council. She is also a member of the Retired State Association and Juneau Community Resource Network. She has two children and five grandchildren. Sue is a Master Gardener and is often found planting in her garden when she is not working on a community event.

The Rev. Gordon Blue is the Rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Juneau. Before coming to the ministry, he was a marine engineer, commercial fisherman, boat-owner, and consultant.
